PATTERN/ PAIRING:
The AAF (Army Airforce) Earth 613 strap features a patinated desaturated olive brown exterior with a neutral grey underliner and reinforced hole settings.
Earth 613 represents a patinated version of the late war Army-Navy Aeronautical Board (ANA) 613 paint standard. Used on vehicles and aircraft, it utilised a streamlined production of olive paint which was in high wartime demand, which often resulted in variations of olive brown patination once deployed in the field.
A subdued and desaturated olive/ brown tone, Earth 613 makes for a historical and relaxed pairing with Pilot and Field pieces as well as with monotone dial designs.
LAYOUT:
A 2 piece layout specially tailored to accommodate a wide range of wearer wrist, and case lug-to-lug sizes.
Equipped with vintage aviation features including a distinctive 6mm engraved rivet, bead blasted aviator roller buckle and a sightly tapered profile leading from a 20mm start to a 18mm buckle (for 20mm version), or a 22mm to a 20mm buckle (for 22mm version)
Outfitted with quick detach springbars for fast and simple installation.
